UPDATE!! Sometimes wishes come true! Thanks to a wonderful benefactor we have a second Grand Piano in our studio. This wonderful addition allows Marie and some of her students to expand their learning and opportunity to perform in two piano performances. See the original “wishes” note below. What a wonderful blessing… Marie finds herself these days in a very unique and honored position in her career in that she currently has many very gifted students in her program. This is a blessing and dream come true for any teacher. Usually teachers are lucky to have even one student of this caliber. As a result, Marie is in an active search for a philanthropist who would be willing to donate a suitable grand piano to her studio in addition to Marie’s incredible 8 foot concert grand. The thought is that pianos are donated regularly to schools and churches where they get beat up and banged on and walked on to serve the community. In this case, the donor would have the peace of mind that their treasured instrument would be cared for with the utmost of professional maintenance and used to effectively change the local community by donating it to a teacher of very high skill and teaching such gifted new musicians. This would allow Marie to teach 2 piano repertoire including concertos (what ultimate FUN and JOY and INSPIRATION for students) and even give intimate chamber programs in her home. Marie also has complimentary access to a more formal recital hall for a larger audience should students strive for this goal. Marie will be actively seeking a solution to this goal.
